We have been super excited and inspired by the Target brief provided. We have embraced the opportunity to explore new sustainable fabrications and technology both within the project and externally in our personal lives. Our individual opinions and knowledge has helped us to create a cohesive working unit enabling us to produce something we are extremely proud of.

Elizabeth Abramson
I believe strongly in leaving the planet better than we found it, while still loving fashion and the fun of expressing myself through my wardrobe. This can be achieved through buying staple basics and well-made pieces which are consciously and ethically created. I’m passionate about helping brands to become eco-conscious and reduce their environmental footprint so that consumers can feel good about their purchases, knowing the earth is not paying for their choices.
Amy Maher
The research industry project has allowed me to gain necessary skills to prepare myself for the workforce, such as problem solving methods and teamwork skills. I have enjoyed researching about the impact in which the fashion industry has on the environment, and new sustainable technologies emerging into the market. Throughout this research I have found myself making more conscious environmental decisions in my own personal life. My career aspirations would be to work as a Fashion buyer or a Product developer.
Shekiah Wolens
I believe conscious consuming is the future of the fashion industry and trust that those retailers listening to consumer demand and choose to dive into the world of sustainable retailing will receive bounds of consumer trust and satisfaction in return. I am excited to enter an industry with an ethical and sustainable knowledge and interest that this brief has given me and cant wait to be apart of a diligent and passionate team that I feel my attitude, style and values align with.

This idea of a conscious lifestyle is something I am extremely passionate about. We need use more sustainable materials and more ethical practices to create a positive future in this Industry! We explored this concept through this incredible Target collection with smart and timeless pieces that are versatile in all social settings while focusing on reducing environmental footprint

Learning about the devastating effect that the fashion Industry has on our planet can be very unmotivating when wanting to move into the work force. The brief given to us and the range that we have created, has given us all a little bit of hope that big brands will want to change how they do things and we as a society can move towards a more sustainable future without having to compromise fashion, quality and functionality.
